This quaint scene is set in the jewel of the Ann Arbor Michigan park system – Gallup Park. A number of these fishing spots with a short bench for sitting and fishing and a larger one for sitting and watching are positioned around the park. The Huron River fishery is home to bass, bluegill, crappie, and even steelhead – which means that these fishing spots get a lot of use.
“This scene itself has the feeling of memory. A lot of us don’t have the time to fish with the people we care about most anymore. Some of those people are no longer with us. But we still remember fishing together, don’t we? “ – Brian Kurtz
